Mandate
To design and create a vinyl sleeve matching its music poster.

Design Making
To express the confusion the tracks created I thought of using bright colours using fluorescent tubes, to create a bright confusing haze. For the typeface I thought of using a big sans-serif type to make it more dramatic with the bright background. I used the same colours as the background on the text to keep the colours consistent yet bright. I placed the name of the artists at the base of the layers type, to reproduce the instruments used in the album and the main artist I left it white to bring out a second focus point. My thought process of creating the vinyl, I wanted to create a geometric record label that acts like a double sided poster to emphasize the instruments in its composition. The folds are meant to create a form out of nothing, leaning towards confusion after figuring out how to fold it back into place. The typographic approach was aligning the texts and names along the fold lines of the album, for the album title I thought to add glowing ink to accentuate to bring out the colors elements and luminosity.

Design Thinking
I wanted to portray the feeling I got from listening to the three tracks of the album. to create a sense of chaos and confusion while listening. Each track is unique in their own way and I wanted a poster and vinyl that used its various elements to convey that feeling.
